This work was originally in the year 2015 ago as part of a multi-movement chamber ballet directed by photographer Abraham del Villar who was also my very close friend. It was named "Vestiges" and the material used in this piece was part of the first movement.

The work revolved around gender violence, a sensitive and deep subject. The ballet talked about the relationship between a man and a woman who tragically evolved from an intense crush on a circle of destructive violence in each of the movements. The first movement would address the moment of connection between the 2 individuals, which would betray a relationship between both. The violence would begin to appear within this movement, but it would show in the following.

Unfortunately, Abraham passed away the same year that the ballet production began, and the complete work could never be carried out. It was so that last year I decided to use the material created for the first movement and adapt it for piano trio, trying to condense the general idea of a thin line that can divide the love of violence into a single movement. The work is dedicated to Abraham del Villar, for being one of the first people to trust my work, but above all for his friendship.
